October 31st :)

So this year, doesn't seem like I will be doing anything much for Halloween, but homework, I know, it sucks, but I lagged and this is what I get! Anyway, since Halloween is on a Sunday this year, my family members in Sacramento celebrated Halloween on Saturday! Because I wasn't there, they sent me a couple pictures and one video where my nieces and nephews were saying "Happy Halloooooween!" to me - I would upload it, but you can hardly tell what the little ones are saying! Well, I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween and share some pictures with everyone that my sister-in-law sent me of the kids!

Here's my niece Alaysia! She was dressed up as an angel! Too cute! My other niece, Valerie, was dressed up as an angel too, but her costume was black! I told my sister-in-law to send me a picture of both of them, but she forgot and by the time she knew it, my niece Alaysia and her parents had left, so no picture of them together! I love her costume because I'm big into the angel books right now, lol!

And here's a picture of all the little ones.  Soo cute! I sure hope they didn't get toooo much candy!  Seems like one of my nephews is spiderman, obviously! One of my niece is a fairy - I think! And besides that, I can't really tell what the rest of them are, LOL :) Well, I sure hope they all had an awesome Halloween this year!

So, what were or are everyone's Halloween plans for this year? I'd love to hear!

My $0.02

WOW! Andrea Cremer sure knows how to take you on a roller coaster ride!  From the get-go you are thrust into this world of fear, love, loyalty, and servitude!  At first, I was a little bit confused with all the terms (i.e. Keepers, Guardians, Searchers, etc.) but as the story unfolds, Andrea ties everything together perfectly!  Now, I know every story has their team - and for this book I couldn't help but be Team Renier all the way up to when I closed the book!  I could not come around to liking Shay at all! I do not know why!  Everything about Ren got me hooked! Whenever there was a scene between Calla and Shay, I couldn't or didn't feel the chemistry between them, but then again it might have been that I went into reading Nightshade already being Team Ren - who knows!  I love how Andrea writes Ren's character and how he beings to change throughout the book.  Calla Tor is a very strong and independent girl, although she got under my skin a few times with the decisions she made!  She is a very capable alpha female - and as she meets and spends more time with Shay, she begins to question everything she's ever known and everything she's ever been told.  Throughout the book, as the reader, you begin to see Calla realize that maybe everything she's ever known isn't quite what it seems.  Towards the end of the book, I was flipping through the pages faster than I could read!  My heart was getting tossed up and down my rib cage - getting slammed and stomped on - along with Calla's as everything began to unfold and come together! Even until the very last page I was still left guessing what was going to happen! When I read the last line of the book, actually, before I finished reading the last line of the book, my mind was already screaming "THIS IS IT?! Ahh!" I was and still am on such an adrenaline rush! With all the action that occurs towards the end, my blood pulsed through my veins and I just couldn't not review this awesome action-packed story!  I have so much to say, but I can't say too much without giving too much away! LOL :) Just note that it is a definite read! I highly recommend!

New Blog

I've kind of been blogging over at Inside Momo's Head, then I realized that I wanted to be a book blogger, so here's where this blog comes in handy. I'm still in the process of fixing it up, so if you run across this page, it's still under construction, so to speak! Anyway, before long, I'll be blogging here about my love for books :)

xo, momo.
