Most superhero stories start with a meteor shower or a nasty insect bite, but mine actually starts with a kiss...

An accident that should end in tragedy instead gives seventeen-year-old Jamie Baker a slew of uncontrollable superhuman abilities.

To keep her secret safe Jamie socially exiles herself, earning the title of Rocklin High’s resident ice queen. But during a supercharged encounter with star quarterback Ryan Miller she literally kisses anonymity goodbye. Now the annoyingly irresistible Ryan will stop at nothing to melt the heart of the ice queen and find out what makes her so special.

Unfortunately, Ryan is not the only person on to her secret. Will Jamie learn to contain her unstable powers before being discovered by the media or turned into a government lab rat?

More importantly, can she throw Ryan Miller off her trail before falling in love with him?

Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky — and unending — lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.

It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left…his soul.

Cover Reveal: Clash by Nicole Williams

Yesterday afternoon, Crash by Nicole Williams reached 101 reviews on Amazon. Nicole had stated that when Crash reached the one hundred mark, she had some super duper exciting Jude news to share with all her fans and well...yesterday, we got that news. I could not be more happy to hear the news; I was over the moon with happiness and giddiness! I could hardly contain myself with all the crazy, happy feelings inside me. If you've been by the blog recently, you would know that I am so unbelievably in love with Crash and after I finished it, all I could think was: I #NeedMoreJudeDude!

Today, I get the honor of sharing some more of that exciting Jude Ryder news with everyone and that is the cover and official blurb to Clash, sequel to Crash. Eep, you can't see me but I'm totally freaking out in my freak the freak out dance! And without further ado, here's the gorgeous cover!

Title: Clash
Author: Nicole Williams
Publisher: Self-published
Release Date: September 2012

The only thing easy about Jude’s and Lucy’s relationship is their love for one another. Everything else is hard.

Especially when it comes to reining in Jude’s trigger touch temper and Lucy’s increasing jealousy towards Jude’s Spirit Sister on the cheer squad who’s attached herself to him in just about every way a girl could. Feeling the stress of trying to hang on to the quintessential bad boy and become the foremost dancer in her class, Lucy knows something’s going to break. She wants both. She needs both. But if she doesn’t make a choice, she risks losing everything.

For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love might be the thing that just isn’t enough.

A Closer Look at All Books in Series:

Crash

I am in love with the cover, although, I do feel that the guy model is a bit too much on the muscular side for me. Well, for my image of Jude, anyway. I mean, there's totes nothing wrong with a muscular guy and I'm not saying that Jude isn't muscular but...I just didn't picture him that...buff, I guess. But other than that, I love it cray. And I'm especially crazy about the switch in the images in both books. How in book one, it's the ballerina image with the converse in the background to how in book two, it's an interpretation of Jude with Lucy's ballerina outfits in the background. They just go together oh so very well!

What do you guys think of the cover for Clash!? Love it? Like it? Hate it? What do you guys think of the covers together? I mean, they totally compliment each other, right? Well, in my opinion, anyway!

Also, don't forget to stop by Nicole Williams's blog to check out her book playlist for Clash!

Books Over Boys Gets A New Do

As the title states, Books Over Boys has gotten a new do. If you've been by the blog in the past twenty-four hours, you would have noticed quite a few wonky things going on and that was because codes and widgets were getting moved around.

For the longest time, I've been aiming for this specific blog look for B.O.B that would portray exactly how I saw it in my head but I just couldn't get the design I wanted because I was too lazy to go about getting it done and because I'm just way too picky and indecisive; I can't even deal with myself, sometimes. But thank the design gods and their amazing creativity with graphics and such that I finally--finally--got the design I wanted.

First of all, let's give a huge round of applause to the amazing and wonderful Amelia (Blog | Design Site) and Ishita (Blog | Design Site) for all the hard and fabulous work they contributed to everything you see here on B.O.B.

Authors Are Rockstars Tour - Leahfreakin'Clifford Interview + Extra

AuthorsRockstarsTour

Today as a part of the Authors Are Rockstars Tour, I get to host the fabulous and one and only, Leahfreakin'Clifford - Queen of Dark and Twisty! ;)

The best way for me to express how much I love Leahfreakin'Clifford is to whip out my arsenal of gifs. There's just so much I want to say and the only way to clearly express those feels are through gifs.

Leah Clifford is one heckuva rockstar author to me because when A Touch Mortal debuted, there were so many mixed feelings about it that I just got the impression that it wasn't going to be something that I would thoroughly enjoy. Therefore, you can only imagine my shock when I fell head-over-heals-dumbfounded-in-all-sorts-of-crazy-stupid-love for A Touch Mortal.
