Sometimes Never Blog Tour: Guest Post + Giveaway

Welcome to my stop on the Sometimes Never Blog Tour hosted by Good Choice Reading Promotions. For today's tour stop, I've got a guest post by McIntyre to share with you about covers as well as the tour-wide giveaway!

Check it out and don't miss a second of it!

About the books:

Sometimes Never (Sometimes Never, #1)Title: Sometimes Never (Sometimes Never, #1)
Author: Cheryl McIntyre
Publisher: Self-published
Release date: December 19, 2012

Hope didn't have the best role model when it came to relationships. She’s content with her current no-strings-attached extracurricular activity with the lead singer of her band. She’s never believed in love and commitment.

Mason starts his eighth school in five years anticipating nothing more than the usual—boring classes, fighting more than making friends, and girls happily willing to succumb to his easy smile. He’s never put much stock into love at first sight—until he sees her.

Regardless of their painful pasts, Hope and Mason discover that sometimes never can become forever.

*This is a mature young adult. Recommended for 17+ due to sensitive subject material, harsh language, and sexual situations.
Purchase: Amazon

Blackbird (Sometimes Never, #1.5)
Title: Blackbird (Sometimes Never, #1.5)
Author: Cheryl McIntyre
Publisher: Self-published
Release date: February 19, 2013

"Sometimes never is a distorted perception. I love you, Hope. And I'm not the only one. I know you care about me. I see it in your eyes. I feel it. Everybody needs love. Everybody. And some people need it more than others. You're a liar if you say you don't. I'll do that for you. I'll love you. All you have to do is let me." –Sometimes Never

What happened in the years between the final chapter and epilogue of Sometimes Never? Blackbird is an 18,000+ word novella that continues Mason and Hope's story as they finish high school, start separate colleges, and confront their demons.

Though Blackbird can be read on its own, it is better enjoyed after reading Sometimes Never.

Recommended for 17+ due to harsh language and some sexual situations.
Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Guest Post: Cover Talk

Sometimes Never’s original book cover was done by my 18 year old nephew over a two day period. He posed for the picture and then created the cover for me. (This was before I knew about stock photos.) When it was time for Blackbird, my agent suggested using a stock photo and pointed me in the right direction. I ended up loving the cover so much I decided to give SN a little makeover. I fell in love with the picture and sent it to the guy that did BB’s cover. I loved how he brought in Hope’s multi-colored hair and blackbird tattoo. I think the two covers look pretty good together. They’re dark, sweet and sexy, just like Hope and Mason.

About the author:

Cheryl McIntyreCheryl McIntyre is a mother, author, and insomniac, as well as a reader, movie critic, and incredibly bad singer. She’s lived in the same area of Ohio her whole life, though she secretly has dreams of moving somewhere a little warmer—preferably near a beach.

Her life revolves around four things: family, music, books, and really bad scary movies. If she doesn’t have a kid on her hip, an iPod in her hand, or a laptop in front of her face, it’s one of those rare moments when she’s actually sleeping.

You can follow her author page on Facebook where she lives part time. On Goodreads, which is like crack for avid readers. Or on Twitter, though it’s rumored she has yet to master the art of tweeting.
