None of them realized how much their emotional baggage would put them at the mercy of Oakleigh’s resident spirits, or that they’d find themselves pawns in the 150-year-old battle for the South’s legendary Confederate gold. Each must conquer their personal ghosts to face down Jackson, a seductive spirit who will do anything to protect the gold’s current location and avenge a heinous attack that destroyed his family.

After reading its synopsis and browsing Brownlow's blog a little bit, In Too Deep seems like a dark and heavy and gritty read. I'm almost hesitant to read it but for that very reason, I want to read it that much more. Am I crazy? Probably, but who cares (unless... you do... ;p).

Exclusive Chapter One Reveal: Crush by Nicole Williams

First of all,
Secondly,

And last but not least,

If You Stay Blog Tour: Guest Post + Giveaway

Welcome to my stop on the If You Stay Blog Tour hosted by Inkslinger PR.

This week has been filled with all amazing things If You Stay. The book was set to release on 2/12 but instead, it released a few days early, making its release 2/7. Despite it releasing early, we still treated the 12th as its book birthday.

On 2/12, Books Over Boys, along with a ton of other bloggers, blew up the web with a bunch of reviews and giveaways to make sure that fellow bookworms were aware of this one, to make sure it was on everyone's radar! I was so excited for this book to finally be released because I love it so much!

Courtney Cole had stated a few times that she was really nervous and anxious for others to read it because... well, when you read it, you'll know why, and I totally get her nervousness but I give her ginormous kudos for going about it the way she did. I know she took a risk with it but like Lauren Oliver once said,"He who leaps for the sky may fall, it's true. But he may also fly." And baby, If You Stay is definitely flying, flying its way up the charts! Woot!

Before I get to today's guest post by the amazing Courtney Cole, let me give you a re-cap of this week!

A couple months ago, I helped reveal the cover to the first book in this series and I can't believe that it's already out and here you guys are, checking out the cover for the second book. Man, it's crazy how fast time truly flies. Pssh, before I know it book two will be out before I even get the chance to read book one. GASP.

I know, I have yet to read Deeper We Fall but it's definitely sittin' up there in my pile.

Without further ado, here's the cover to Faster We Burn by Chelsea M. Cameron!

Cover Reveal: Camp Kiss by J.K. Rock

Spencer Hill Press has recently launched a contemporary imprint titled Spencer Hill Contemporary where they'll be bringing all of us hungry readers YA and NA novels with all the drama and spunk that regular human beings (what i call contemporary to non-readers, lol) sometimes go through.

Today's reveal is one of the many novels that SH Contemporary will be publishing later this year. It's a free prequel novella to Camp Boyfriend by J.K. Rock that will be available for download on March 26, 2013.

I can't wait to read these two because Spencer Hill Press is amazing and all sorts of awesomesauce so I know these two will blow my socks off! Also, this cover is so cyoot; feast your eyes, bookworms!

About the book:

If You Stay (Beautifully Broken, #1)Title: If You Stay
Author: Courtney Cole
Publisher: Lakehouse Press
Release date: February 7, 2013

24-year old Pax Tate is an asshole.

Seriously.

He’s a tattooed, rock-hard bad-boy with a bad attitude to match.

But he’s got his reasons.

His mother died when Pax was seven, leaving a hole in his heart filled with guilt although he doesn’t understand why. What he does know is that he and his dad are left alone and with more issues than they can count.

As Pax grew up, he tried to be the kid his father always wanted; the perfect golden boy, but it didn’t work. His dad couldn’t overcome his grief long enough to notice and Pax couldn’t keep up the impossible perfect façade.

So he slipped far, far from it.

Now, he uses drugs and women to cope with the ugliness, the black void that he doesn’t want to deal with. If he pretends that the emptiness isn’t there, then it isn’t, right?

Wrong.

And it’s never more apparent than when he meets Mila.

Sweet, beautiful Mila Hill is the fresh air to his hardened frown, the beauty to his ugly heart. He doesn’t know how to not hurt her, but he quickly realizes that he’s got to figure it out because he needs her to breathe.

When memories of his mother’s death resurface from where he’s repressed them for so long, Mila is there to catch him when the guilt starts making sense. Mila is the one…the one who can save him from his broken troubled heart; from his issues, from the emptiness.

But only if he can stop being an asshole long enough to allow it.

He knows that. And he’s working on it.

But is that enough to make her stay?

Please note, IF YOU STAY is not Young Adult. It is mature New Adult, with explicit scenes, language and some drug use.

My Teasers:

Cover Reveal: Click to Subscribe by L.M. Augustine + Giveaway

Just recently, I've heard of L.M. Augustine. The other day, he followed me on Twitter and because I always check out my newest followers (you know, to make sure that i'm not getting spammed or... you know the creepy kind of stalked ;p), I learned that he's the author of the upcoming YA release, Click to Subscribe.

Fun tidbit: in his Twitter profile, CLICK TO SUBSCRIBE is in all caps, so when I read that, I immediately thought he was spam because that's a weird title for a book... but then I saw author in his Twitter handle so odd got replaced with intrigue. Before I knew it, I was browsing his blog where I stumbled upon his sign ups for his cover reveal... and well, we've come full circle to today's post.

Click to Subscribe is definitely one that I'm keeping an eye out for; it sounds so cute and so techy, lol! Anyway, check out the cover!

Promotion Event: A Song for Julia by Charles Sheehan-Miles‏ + Giveaway

A Song for Julia by Charles Sheehan-Miles - We all have hurts that we don't show
Credit: BookNook
Have you heard of Just Remember to Breathe by Charles Sheehan-Miles? I've yet to read it but I've heard lots and lots of amazing things about it from fellow bookworms!

Today, I've got an excerpt to share with all of you from book two, A Song for Julia. Because I haven't read book one yet (i'm not too sure), I believe the three books in this series are companion novels, which in that case I think it's alright if you read the synopsis below... if you're weary of spoilers.

But wait, I also have a giveaway to share with all of you! So stick around, read the excerpt, make yourself at home, and enter the giveaway!

Cover Reveal: Faking It by Cora Carmack

Today's reveal packs so much awesome that I can't waste anytime chit-chatting about how much I loved the first book and how frickin' thrilled I am that we're getting a second. I mean, book one was just the cutest and the load of awkward in it was totally swoon-coma-inducing. And what? There's a second companion novel? Holy burnt biscuit, yo!

Losing It by Cora Carmack was definitely a release that took the New Adult world by storm! I loved everything about it and if you wanna, you know, know more about what I thought of it, check out my review!

Anyway, remember the storm that Losing It kicked up? Well, the storm was so ginormous that not only did Cora Carmack receive the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author title but HarperCollins couldn't help but pick up Losing It! Yay! They'll be releasing it in paperbacks this very month, in a couple of short weeks! Yeah, talk about freaking the freak out! On February 26th, run out to your local book seller and grab yourself a very gorgeous pretteh!

Pre-order links are available and you should totally secure a copy for yourself just by the off chance that your B&N or... whatever book store you shop at, sucks like mine and won't be carrying copies on release day.

Let's all give Losing It a second awesome send-off into the publishing world, eh?
