Release Day Blitz + Giveaway: This Regret by Victoria Ashley

Happy release day to This Regret and congrats to Victoria Ashley!

About the book:

Title: This Regret
Author: Victoria Ashley
Publisher: Self
Release date: February 26, 2014

Phoenix has been stumbling through life since her brother Adric's tragic death but after eight years, she is finally piecing what remains together. She has a nice apartment, a steady job and not to mention a fresh new 'relationship' with her childhood friend, Kade Haze. He's the sexy boy next door she never even dreamed of falling for, but can’t seem to stop the pull she feels toward him.

Just when life began to make sense again and a feeling of normalcy was on the horizon, Phoenix's carefully constructed walls come crashing down.

When walking into the tattoo shop one day, the last thing she’s expecting to see is Kellan Haze, Adric’s best friend no one has seen or heard from since the day they found her brother’s body. He’s nothing as she remembers him as a child, with his wild messy hair, tattoos that cover most of his undeniably sexy body and eyes so intense it makes her legs quiver with one look. The one thing even she can’t deny is the instant rush she feels just by being in his presence.

But how can you choose between love and lust when one of these hold a dark secret, one that can crush your world to pieces and leave you gasping for air. Who can you trust when your mind is pulling you in two different directions and your heart has to choose for you?

The Haze brothers are sexy, daring and possibly . . . dangerous.

This Regret is a story of love, lust, betrayal and danger with an ending that no one saw coming.

About the book:

Title: Hero (Hero, #1)
Author: Leighton Del Mia
Publisher: Self
Release date: February 27, 2014

Calvin Parish
They call me Hero.
I defend.
I protect.
I ask for nothing in return, and that makes me good.
Doesn’t it?

That which makes me the ultimate predator also feeds dark impulses I’ve learned to control—until I bring her too close. For years I’ve watched her from afar, but what started out as duty has become obsession.

Cataline Ford
I work hard.
I play by the rules.
I’m content.
My scars are quiet and invisible, and that keeps me hidden.
Doesn’t it?

One fateful walk home, I’m taken by someone I didn’t know I should fear. Captive and afraid, nobody will tell me why I’m confined to this hauntingly beautiful mansion. I’m given everything; I have nothing. He takes what he needs from me, and for that I hate him. But I might have loved him once.

And just because you’re reading this doesn’t mean I survive him.

Hero is a dual POV, standalone erotic novel.
Warning: meant for a mature audience due to dark themes including non-or dubious-consent.

All of Court’s Men: Dante Giliberti

Welcome to week two of All of Court's Men! This week we are spotlighting Dante Giliberti from Cole's YA Contemporary series, Paradise Diaries!

About the book:

Title: Dante's Girl (The Paradise Diaries, #1)
Author: Courtney Cole
Publisher: Lakehouse Press, Inc.
Release date: June 22, 2012

I have spent every summer since I was ten years old with my father in London. Every summer, since I was ten years old, has been uneventful and boring.

Until this year.

And this year, after a freak volcanic eruption strands me far from home, I have learned these things:

1. I can make do with one outfit for three days before I buy new clothes.
2. If I hear the phrase, "You're not in Kansas anymore, Toto," even one more time, I might become a homicidal maniac.
3. I am horribly and embarrassingly allergic to jellyfish.
4. I am in love with Dante Giliberti, who just happens to be the beautiful, sophisticated son of the Prime Minister of a Mediterranean paradise.
5. See number four above. Because it brings with it a whole slew of problems and I've learned something from every one of them.

Let's start with the fact that Dante's world is five light-years away from mine. He goes to black-tie functions and knows the Prime Minister of Great Britain on a first name basis. I was born and raised on a farm in Kansas and wear cut-off jeans paired with cowboy boots. See the difference?

But hearts don't care about differences. Hearts want what they want. And mine just wants to be Dante's girl.

My heart just might be crazy.

Cover Reveal + Giveaway: Finding My Way by Heidi McLaughlin

I'm so excited to be a part of this cover reveal because McLaughlin's Beaumont series is a huge favorite of mine! Everything about it is familiar... if that makes sense. Every time I dive back into the series and visit Beaumont, it's like I never left. All the characters have become so cozy and comfortable to me. I don't know... but I just love this series a whole bunch!

I'm most excited for Finding My Way because hello, more Liam! That's all it takes for me. So, check out the cover and don't miss the giveaway below!

Cover Reveal: Keep Me: A Hero Novella by Leighton Del Mia

A couple weeks ago, I ran across a book called Hero and ever since then, I've been wanting, like mad, to read it. It's an Erotic standalone with dual POV and what caught my attention the most was the fact that there just seems to be so much intrigue and mystery swirling around it. I cannot wait, not even one more day.

Today's reveal is a novella that will also be releasing the same day as Hero, which will be tomorrow. There's more info about what Keep Me is all about but before I get to that, let's check out the cover!

what does your crack read like?

a few weeks ago, i had monica murphy by the blog for an interview. in the interview, i had asked her:
q. as i started reading savor, i realized that the first book, crave, had that sister/best friend thing going on. in torn, it had that haters-to-lovers thing going on and in savor it had that forbidden/opposites attracts thing working. which of the three is your favorite to read about?

um…all of them? truthfully, i love love the forbidden, i work for him/she works for me boss/assistant storyline. those stories are my crack.

click here to read the full interview.
ever since then, i haven't been able to get the question outta my head. hence, the prompt for this post.

as the question came and left, i kept pondering my response and eventually, i realized that my absolute most favorite stories to read about are the ones where they've been friends for forever long and then one day, boom—they're not. i mean, in some stories, it's totes-ma-goats obvious and that's fine because i can go in expecting it but the heroin to my veins are the ones where it's unexpected. the ones where they've been the bestest of friends since the beginning of time, but throughout the entire book, they're not trying to get at each other until something or someone crosses the "friends-only" line.
