Cover Reveal: Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Jennifer L. Armentrout's Lux series has taken the blog world by storm! Today, along with a billion, zillion other blogs, Books Over Boys is here to help reveal the cover to Opal, book three in the Lux series.

Title: Opal
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publisher: Entangled Publishing
Release Date: December 11th, 2012

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

I still haven't read this series so I don't know if there's any significance to why Daemon's carrying Katy but I do like the cover. I think the coloring of the title and the background that sorta fades into a dark gray--the blue that's eerily haunting--is most appealing to me. The only minor thing that I'm not too excited about is Daemon and Katy's black clothing. They almost blend in together themselves and then they sorta blend in with the background. I am cray in love with the trees in the background, though. I guess that's just the nature side in me speaking. It makes me want to jump into the cover and get lost in that forest. Overall, I think Shadows and Onyx are still my faves in the series.

What do you guys think of the cover for Opal!? Love it? Like it? Hate it? What do you guys think of the covers together? Pepe and Sztella are stunning in all the covers; they can never take a flawed shot, I swear! Well, let me know what you're feeling about Opal in the comments below! I would love to hear what you're thinking!

  1. While I like the colors, I don't like the way Sztella's head is so...swkwardly placed.

  2. I love the cover, like you said those two cant really take a bad picture. Also, you have to read these books soon! They are my faves!!!!
