#BOBblogoversary Day 10: Happy 3 Year Anniversary, Books Over Boys!
Aah, today is the day! Exactly three years ago on this day, Books Over Boys got its very first blog post. To be honest, I date it back to my first post because I can't recall exactly when I decided to start B.O.B., so... the first post seemed reasonable.
Anyway, I'm so happy! I can't believe it, seriously. Three years ago, who would have ever thought that I would be here today, that I would be able to keep this blog up and running all this time. I didn't even know I had it in me. I didn't know that my passion for the written word burned so furiously. Throughout these three years, so much awesome and amazing has happened to me that it blows my mind so hard!
I don't even know how or where to begin! I have all these topics I want to hit so hopefully, I don't miss a single one!

About the book:
Title: Meant for Her
Author: Raine Thomas
Publisher: Iambe Books, LLC
Release date: October 15, 2013

Photographer Sierra Stratton views the world through a lens all her own. She has an uncanny sense about people, something that often causes her trouble. When she meets the sexy and brooding Evan Dorsey, her intuition tells her he’s suffering, and she wants to be the one to help him.
Evan isn’t open to help from anyone, however. His focus is on his Major League career and making himself as marketable as possible for his upcoming free agency. He plans to ride out the season in Atlanta and then sign with another team, away from the painful memories that haunt him.
Someone’s eager to send him on his way, too. Between anonymous threats and equipment sabotage, it’s clear he’s earned himself an enemy along the way. To him, it’s one more sign that he’s right to move on.
But Sierra threatens his conviction. Her contagious smile proves hard to resist, as does her kiss. She tempts him in ways he never anticipated, making him question his plans for the first time. If he’s not careful, she might just convince him that he’s meant for her.

Author: Chelsea M. Cameron
Publisher: Self
Release date: October 14, 2013

She's his boss. He doesn't care. This office isn't big enough for the two of them...
When Rory Clarke ends up hiring the guy she spent one steamy night with to be her administrative assistant, she's determined to keep things professional.
Lucas Blaine has other plans for her. He wants Rory, and it's hard to resist his stunning blue eyes, chin dimple and the way he fills out a suit. Everywhere she looks, there he is, giving her a panty-melting smile and pulling her away for the most amazing (and satisfying) sex she's ever had in her life.
What starts off as one sexual encounter turns into multiple trysts in and out of the office and the lines she'd tried to draw so carefully are blurring. But the closer they get, the more Rory realizes that there are things about Lucas she doesn't know, things he's hiding from her. She'll have to decide if she can surrender to her feelings or get out while she still can.

back to back to back to back
last week when i fell off the face of the social media world, it was because i was 1) lazing around, lol, and 2) reading a ton of books. i make it sound like i read so many but in reality, it was only a total of three. but hey, that was a lot for me in a week! ;p
i don't know if it's just me but there's this high that takes over when i finish a book. it's like all these endorphins flood my body and i feel like i'm on top of the world. no joke! anyway, when i finish a book, i feel like i can read 56893154975 books back to back to back to back.

walking, talking, potty-training status
this is a big week for books over boys. (or at least it feels that way in my head.)
on saturday, october 19th, 2013, my baby will be three years old! that's walking, talking, potty-training status. huge milestones, yaknow? ;p
but before saturday hits, i feel like i need to clean every nook and cranny around this space. one nook and cranny was my blog design. SAY WHAT? i know, take a look *gestures arms* around! isn't books over boys' new home so nice and spiffy? i felt it was appropriate and perfect timing to ring in the third year with a new look and new feel to my humble abode. what do you think?
