your feels are splattered

if it hasn't been obvious, books over boys hasn't posted a review in forever only because lately, i feel the weight of a thousand pounds on my shoulders when i think about writing one. so, today's post is a... well, i don't know but i just finished one of the best books of all time and i need a place to unravel all my thoughts and feels... so, prepare for squeals and squees and run-on sentences and incoherent thoughts and all that. ;p

(i guess it makes it a bit easier when things aren't labeled.)

i heard about this book back when it was cover-less and have been dying to read it ever since. two days ago, i started what's left of me by the wonderful, amanda maxlyn, because i knew that in two days' time—today—that it was going to be released. i wasn't quite sure what to expect except heartache and... i got the best kind possible with WLOM.

Jordan Deen Announcement

As of yesterday, December 5th, Jordan Deen, author of The Crescent series, is officially an Indie Author. She has re-released The Crescent and Half Moon with new covers and prices—yay!

I am a huge fan of this series! Werewolf based plots are my absolute favorite and I fell in love with this one! I read the first two books in the series back in 2011 and I have been dying for the third book ever since. Two years is way too long of a wait! To finally hear that the third book will be in my hands by next year is pure music to my ears—eargasm! ;p

the only one hustlin' and bustlin'

earlier this week, i was thinking that i should probably get my christmas tree up because we were already a few days into december. but, i was dragging it out because in my house, it's only my rents and i so if i was gonna do it, i'd be the only one hustlin' and bustlin'. but eventually, i got to it.

on monday or tuesday, i dug all the christmas decor outta storage so i could go about doing my christmas thang. but for some odd reason, i couldn't locate the most important decor—the tree. GASP! i know, right? what craziness is this?! i looked everywhere that it could possibly be and came up with nada, zilch, zip, zero, bubkes. so, my holiday cheer deflated for another day or two.

i sat around, thinking what should i do now? should we just go out and buy another tree? should i get creative and use christmas lights to make a wall tree or... should i make a bookish christmas tree? DING! DING! DING! the lightbulb went off and it couldn't have been more perfect because i absolutely love books and the written word and christmas is one of the best holidays ever so put two and two together and... DING!

all day yesterday, i spent my day making/building my very own and my very first bookish christmas tree. if you follow me on any of my social networks, then you've probably seen my tree by now but let's hear about how i made it, eh?
