Cover Reveal: Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins

I'm so seriously stoked to be sharing today's cover with all of you! To be honest, I haven't read this series yet and I'm kicking myself for it because a ton of bloggers love it to pieces. I mean, there's even a read along going on right now for book one. Needless to say, I need to read this series like. . . yesterday!

Here's a fun little tidbit I thought I'd share with you before we get to the cover. So let me just say that I get really nervous when I talk to characters. And that probably sounds weird but I mean talk as in a character interview and stuff. It's one thing to gush and gush and gush about them but to actually be talking to them. . . yeah, freaks me out a bit. Here's a very short conversation with the one and only Kaidan Rowe that sorta had me losing my balls! ;)

#NeedMoreJudeDude: Explosive News

So. This is pretty much me right now. I seriously cannot contain myself. I had to really calm myself down to write this post and well, now that I've pushed all that excitement down, I'm about to explode.

Well, as you know, today is my two year blogoversary and that itself is a huge thing and I would not have a post top it but I think this totally tops my blogoversary. On all levels of top-ery. Also, as most of you know, I am a tremendous fan of Nicole Williams's Crash series. I've stated it various times that I love it crazy so you could only imagine how I reacted when I found out.

For a while now, I knew Nicole had some huge news to share and for some reason, I just knew that it had to do with Jude and Lucy so I couldn't wait to find out. I, you know, waited patiently not for Nicole to reveal her news and it's quite funny and perfect timing the way it worked out. Just this morning around midnight, I picked the winner for the Crash blog tour giveaway and when I went to purchase the copies on Amazon, it took me to a really weird looking page and so I contacted Nicole and then she told me that...

Happy two years, Books Over Boys! #2Y1K2K

Aah, here we are! Books Over Boys is officially (well, not until 3:10 PM but...) two years old today! My baby--yes, I call BOB my baby--is growing up and I absolutely cannot believe it! Time for seriously does sprout wings and a propeller right before our eyes! I don't really even know what has happened in these two years--a whole lot of awesome and a whole lot of nada, that's what, lol! Anyway, before we get to celebrating and having fun, I want to take the time out to thank all the awesome and amazing people who have helped me get to where I am today.

On the eve of: #BOBturnstwo

At 3:10 PM two years ago, Books Over Boys had its very first blog post. When I go back to read it, it's pretty lame. No, it's straight out lame because it was about three sentences long about starting a new blog (because originally I had created a more personal blog before BOB) about books. Anyway, with that very first post, Books Over Boys was established. For my first year, I didn't celebrate as big as I am about to with my two years. For me, all the firsts mean the most but sometimes because it's a first, it sorta, sometimes flies under the radar without much notice. Thinking back, that wasn't fair to my blog or myself, more like. I feel like when it's your first at something, it should always be celebrated. You know, first baby steps, first time on a bicycle, first birthday, first day of school, first--everything. All the firsts are milestones that mean more than what we sometimes realize. So, because Books Over Boys didn't have a huge-normous first birthday, it will have a somewhat huge second birthday.

Lately, Books Over Boys has been bringing you a whole lot of covers, haven't we? Well, today I have another one to share with you. I never heard of this one before so I'm glad I received the email to take part because after reading the synopsis, I kinda, sorta, really wanted to read it right then and there.

Even though there's been a whole lot of nothing but cover reveals here on Books Over Boys as of late, I hope that in seeing these covers, you guys will discover new books just like I have. And now, I present to your pretty little eyes, The Crimson Hunt by Victoria Smith!

Release Date: October 14th, 2012

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible—a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves her potential sexual partner alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if if that weren't embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theatre professor.

Deity Book Trailer and Apollyon Cover Reveal‏

Today is a very epic day because well, whenever the great and amazing Jennifer L. Armentrout is involved, epicness occurs. As the title of this post states, I'm helping out in the Deity book trailer reveal as well as the cover reveal for Apollyon.

I am a huge fan of all things JLA although I am quite ashamed to admit that I have yet to read Deity or any of the Lux books. *hides and ducks from pitchforks* Ooh, I should probably not mention that I also haven't read Cursed or Tempting the Best Man. Man, that makes me look like I am not as big of a fan as I say I am. Oh boy, this is starting to look really bad.

But hey, that doesn't matter. After reading JLA's Covenant series (well, the first two books, anyway), I was hooked hard, for life, even. It's just...JLA is a mad writing machine and she can whip out a book faster than Willow Smith can say I whip my hair back and forth! No joke, people! Jennifer L. Armentrout is a writing beast and she has about eleven or so books out and/or releasing that it's almost, sorta hard to keep up!

Anyway, I will remedy all of that soon (I oh-so very hope-so)! I didn't watch the trailer for Deity because I'm not going to spoil anything for myself so after you watch it, just leave me a comment saying something along the lines of: "Oh my gosh--amazing!" or "You're crazy, read the book!" or "WOW!" I mean, all three will make me feel that much more horrible for not reading the book yet but hey, that's your job so I'll read it sooner, right? Totally right.

Aah, do not even get me started on the cover for Apollyon. I totally think it's my second favorite, right after Half-Blood but I mean, Half-Blood is number one because well it's book one and it's purple and who doesn't love purple? Back to the cover for Apollyon. It's gorgeous and shining and all UP IN YOFACE. Oh, and it's super sparkly too--it just glows. Seriously.

And here's a little fun fact for all of you to ponder over a bit before you guys set eyes on the cover. Although, you guys might just skim over all of this because this is just too much writing to read, lol. Even I agree but I just had to let my JLA fan-girl have a say.

Click on image to zoom in.

This was a part of a comment thread in my post for the Deity cover reveal that took place during the YA Heroine Tournament last winter. Kate Kaynak, the editor of JLA's Covenant series had asked if I had any guesses for what color book 4--Apollyon--would be and I said orange or yellow. So, you think about that...

Now, onto the book trailer for Deity!

Now, for a little side-note that I should totally bring to your attention just so that when it is announced, you won't miss it. About two weeks ago, Nicole mentioned that she had some HUGE-NORMOUS NEWS coming our way. If you check out her post, she states that it's "for real, one hundred and twenty percent BIG NEWS." I can't help but think that it has something to do with Jude and Lucy (and if it's not...well, I'd still be over-the-moon happy for Nicole) so I absolutely cannot wait to hear what it is! Keep an eye out on Nicole's social links (found below) so you don't miss it when the news goes live!

And last but of course, not least, thank you so much to everyone for following the tour and being interested in Jude and Lucy's crazy roller coaster ride of a story! Also, a humongous thank you to all the bloggers who helped out in making this blog tour possible; I cannot say thanks enough! This blog tour was my very first so thank you for putting up with my all-over-the-place...craziness! Additionally, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you to the fabulous and wonderful, Nicole Williams for everything! With just one story, I have become a fan for life!

Cover Reveal: Reaction by Jessica Roberts

Today's cover reveal is for book two in the Reflection series by Jessica Roberts. I haven't read book one yet but a few of my blogger pals love it dearly so I am definitely planning on getting around to it soon. Not only did they love it but they also said that it was a tear-jerker with a crazy cliffhanger so I think I'll read it after book two is released, lol! And without anymore waiting on your part, here is the cover to Reaction by Jessica Roberts!

Crash Blog Tour: Jude POV Guest Post #1

Oh my goodness, welcome to my stop on the #NeedMoreJudeDude blog tour hosted by yours, truly! Obviously, I am dumb crazy in love with this book and I really don't know why I am so hooked but...who cares, right? I just am. Today, I have a very special treat to share with all you Jude fans and that's a scene from his point of view from Clash, book two.

I don't know how many of you have already read Clash but for those of you who haven't, I promise this isn't anything spoilery. It might actually make that scene more understandable from Lucy's POV once you get to it.

Jude is such a character that I just can't ever get enough of him so I was thrilled to be able to get inside his head and just see how he thinks, lmao! I hope you guys enjoy it as much as myself! Ooh, and you see how my title includes #1? Well, there's two parts to his POV, so check back in on Friday, October 12th for the rest of this awesome scene!

Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate or punch him.

On the one hand, Hunter Zaccadelli is a handsome, blue-eyed bundle of charm. On the other, he's a tattooed, guitar-playing bundle of bad boy. Maybe that's why Taylor's afraid of falling in love with him, or anyone else. She doesn't want to get burned, and even though her other roommates adore him, she wants him gone before it's too late.

Hunter himself has been been burned before, but the fact that Taylor calls him out on his crap and has the sexiest laugh ever make him decide maybe love isn't a lost cause. They make a bet: if she can convince him she truly loves or hates him, he'll leave the apartment--and leave her alone. The problem is, the more time they spend together, the less she hates him, and the more she moves toward love.

But when the man who holds the key to Taylor's fear of giving up her heart resurfaces and threatens to wreck everything, she has to decide: trust Hunter with her greatest secret, or do everything in her power to win that bet and drive him away forever.
