#BOBblogoversary Day 27: Jennifer L. Armentrout + Giveaway

Welcome to day twenty-seven of my two-month long celebration event for Books Over Boys' three year anniversary! ;p If you would like to check out the first month, you can do so by clicking the link that says "click here for all things blogoversary related" underneath the B.O.B. Turns 3 tab located in my right sidebar.

Even though the official day for my blogoversary has come to pass, I'm still celebrating because the weeks following my very first blog post are still worthy of celebration, yaknow? Well, I think so, anyway. Or, I just want a reason to celebrate, so here we are!

Today's post will be the last of my author features and I'm so excited to close it out with the one and only, Jennifer L. Armentrout, the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Covenant and Lux series. JLA will always have a very special place in my heart. I feel as though we both started out at the same time and it makes my heart so happy and warm and fuzzy to see how far she's come and how much she's accomplished! It blows my mind; she's truly epic and oh-so-very amazing!

Every single book she writes is pure gold, no joke! If you're ever looking for a book that will never disappoint, JLA is your gal! I haven't read every single one of her books, but from what I have read, I've loved 'em all; she's totally turned me into a fan for life! I love JLA crazy and one of these days, she and I really must meet in real life! Seriously.

Huge kudos to the person that can tell me in the comments which scene or chapter this little snippet was taken from! ;p

I can’t stand it when someone starts talking to me when I’m reading. If I’m reading, why would you talk to me? It doesn’t make any sense. Don’t talk to me when I’m reading because I just can’t stand it. I CAN’T!

About the author:

#1 New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you’ve heard about her state aren’t true. When she’s not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Jack Russell, Loki.

Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent most of her time writing short stories….which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes Young Adult Paranormal, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Contemporary Romance. She is published with Spencer Hill Press, Entangled Teen and Brazen, Disney/Hyperion and Harlequin Teen. Her book Obsidian has been optioned for a major motion picture.

She also writes adult and New Adult romance under the name J. Lynn where she is published by Entangled Brazen and HarperCollins.

  1. What was the last book that made you cry? The host but with taking chances and stealing harper it broke my heart and I teared up

  2. Wow! What a giveaway! Crossing my fingers...

  3. I don't limit myself to what I read...I love series because you can really immerse yourself in the world and get to know characters really well. I love stand alone's because it can be really satisfying to finish a book and know how it ends, and not be waiting on pins and needles to find out what happens. My favorite though, would have to be companion novels. You get the satisfaction of a stand alone with the same sense of immersion like in a series because they generally are connected in some small way...secondary characters, same "world"...and sometimes/usually appearances by characters you have already come to love. My favorites are by Stephanie Perkins, Miranda Kenneally, and Cora Carmack :)

  4. E-books or paperbacks? I like reading e-books, but if I LOVE a book I have to have it in PB!!

Thanks so much for stopping by Books Over Boys! You're a fun little lollipop triple dipped in awesomesauce. ;p
