#BOBblogoversary Day 11: Jay Crownover + Giveaway

Welcome to day eleven of my month long celebration event for Books Over Boys' third year anniversary! ;p If you would like to check out the first few days, you can do so by clicking the link that says "click here for all things blogoversary related" underneath the B.O.B. Turns 3 tab located in my right sidebar.

Even though the official day for my blogoversary has come to pass, I'm still celebrating because the days following my very first blog post are still worthy of celebration, yaknow? Well, I think so, anyway. Or, I just want a reason to celebrate, so here we are! ;p

For today's feature, I've the extraordinary, Jay Crownover, author of the most amazing Rule and Jet, here for a whole lotta epic fun! First, I am so over the moon to be featuring Crownover today because this week is extra special! Wanna know why? I bet you do so let me tell you all the juicy deets before we hit today's post!

First of all, today is Crownover's birthday! Say what?! I know! So, before you do anything else, make sure you track her down via her social media sites and wish her a very happy birthday filled with all the good things in life! ;p

Secondly, on Tuesday—yes, this Tuesday, October 22nd—Rule will release in paperback in stores near you. Oh my gosh, I don't think you guys can even begin to understand my excitement! I am so ecstatic for Crownover! I read Rule way back in January and it's been an enormous favorite ever since! It brings me all the warm and fuzzies that starting Tuesday, when I walk into a bookstore, I will get to see Rule's sexy self sitting on shelves. That just brings the biggest smile to my face! So remember, hit up a bookstore or two on Tuesday and grab a copy of my sexy dude to bring home with ya! Snap some photos of him, too!

Last but not least... ah, just check out the screen shot that I took:

I just found this out a few minutes ago when I was on Goodreads looking up Rule and Jet and I nearly dislocated my jaw from the huge drop that it did. A few nights ago, I was chatting with Crownover and although it wasn't a definite announcement, I knew something exciting was coming and this definitely made it more official. Although, I'm still waiting for it to come from Crownover herself.

Anyway, NASH! Nash is getting a book (4/29/2014)! I absolutely love all the men in the Marked Men series so this... this is the absolute best way to start this Monday! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, I SO SERIOUSLY CAN'T EVEN !!!!!

Excited and happy are just two among a trillion things that I'm feeling. Just... cloud nine! I CAN'T WAIT -- EEEEE!

Aah, okay, I think I've calmed down a smidge bit. Before my happy-happy-clap-clap feelings overwhelm me, let's get to the awesome that is Crownover!

Huge kudos to the person that can tell me in the comments which scene or chapter this little snippet was taken from!

When Jet first came out I was so frustrated/upset that everyone…well a lot of readers were hating on Ayden. She’s not your typical heroine, she was designed to have a lot of characteristics most men have in the genre…people were not stoked. Long story short, I realized that even if they didn't like her, they cared enough to talk about why they didn't like her, which meant at least they were reading the book. Moral is just roll with it, you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

I have been a bartender in hi-end bars, dive bars, and everything in between. I have had access to the finest liquors, and most artfully crafted micro-brews and yet nothing and I mean NOTHING makes me happier than a cold bottle of Bud-Light. I’m not even going to ask if that’s weird because I straight up know it is. ☺

I can’t stand when strangers try and touch my tattoos. Yeah I got a lot, and yes they are colorful and visible but I am not an intimate object and I have a bubble. You can’t freaking walk into the Louvre and touch the Mona Lisa so why would you think you can touch my ART! I just can’t…for real and you might just get punched in the face if you try it!!

About the author:

I’m a native Coloradoan and if you live here you know why that is a source of pride. I love all the things Colorado has to offer and that is why I choose to set my books in this familiar setting. I try to write about things I know and am familiar with which is why my stories feature plenty of rock and roll and body modification.

I've been in the bar industry since I was in college and I spend over forty hours a week watching the interaction between men and women in a unique way. I think my 9 to 5 job offers me valuable insights into how relationships start and evolve in a social setting. I love it.

I like to write New Adult novels because I remember being in my early twenties and thinking I had it all figured out only to be proven wrong time and time again. When I look back those were the years that defined who I am today, and good or bad those decisions untimely set me on my current path, so that’s what I like to explore in my writing.
