Welcome to day sixteen of my month long celebration event for Books Over Boys' three year anniversary! ;p If you would like to check out the first few days, you can do so by clicking the link that says "click here for all things blogoversary related" underneath the B.O.B. Turns 3 tab located in my right sidebar.
Even though the official day for my blogoversary has come to pass, I'm still celebrating because the days following my very first blog post are still worthy of celebration, yaknow? Well, I think so, anyway. Or, I just want a reason to celebrate, so here we are!
For today's feature, I've got the awesome Sam from Paper Cuts here to join in the fun! I've known Sam for a while now and somewhere along the line, she's become someone who I can go to and command to read so and so book after I've finished it. That came out a bit weird but I didn't want to get all informal (more than I already am) on you guys. But what I mean is that after I finish a book that's got me nine levels of happy and excited and distraught and... all the feels, I can comfortably send a quick message to Sam and basically tell her she has to read said book or else, lol!
Every now and then, we'll update each other on what we've been reading and after hearing Sam's recommendations, I realize that we have pretty similar—like thisclose—taste in books, which just adds to Sam's level of awesome! Anyway, it's great to have her here on Books Over Boys today because her friendship means a whole bunch to me!
I’m weird because…
I get really hyper at random times, but only for about 5 minutes at a time.
I’d rather spend time with my books than real human beings.
I get really addicted to food places and go there for weeks until I am tired of the food they serve there.
I dye my hair when I get bored. It currently has purple tips.
I go along with my manager when he says I’m a witch and have magical powers.
I’ve created a whole story to get my friend to believe that I was truly a Shadowhunter.
I’m awesome because…
I’m Sam! That’s a reason I use a lot….
I love to read! A lot. I obsess over it, and then fan girl over books.
I get school credit to take pictures all day.
My phone case is a Minion dressed as Spider-Man.
My mom was a baker and my dad is a chef. There is never a bad meal in my house.
I have purple hair.
I’m addicted to Starbucks and Sonic.
I’m a bad friend because…
I really don’t like to hang out with people.
I don’t like to go outside.
Books are better than people. They also don’t ask questions. Or want my attention.
I forget that others exist and don’t talk to my best friends for weeks…
I get really awkward in social situations.
I don’t like responding to questions, and usually won’t, or you can expect a sarcastic answer if I don’t like the question.
I’m a good friend because…
I tend to buy you goodies and treats. Lots of them, all for your love.
I like to listen, and not talk.
I will spend hours watching movies with anyone.
I am really spazy and will TRY to make you laugh, or just make a fool of myself.
I will stay up until midnight to wish you happy birthday.
I am always up to give people rides, or help out in any way I can.
I’m sad because…
School starts on Monday.
Gas is expensive, and so is car insurance.
My brother is in college.
Sequels take forever to be released.
I have yet to finish my summer assignment.
Weekends mean work, and weekdays mean school.
My car is broken.
I’m happy because…
I really like my job. (Who doesn’t like working with guys all day?)
My best friend lives super close now.
My brother's in college. It’s a love/hate relationship.
I have a fun year ahead of me.
I’m excited for…
I just got Origin by Jennifer Armentrout!
My purple hair!
My 17th birthday. R rated movies, woot woot!
Getting my car fixed. No more off-roading for Sam!
The heat to be gone! Sweaters here I come!
Long story short, I learned that I suck at storytelling, and you don’t want to read something I write about my life.
I have this weird obsession with popping my bones, a lot. Mostly my shoulder and thumbs in and out of place. Is that weird?
Stupid questions! All day at work I get stupid self-explanatory questions that make absolutely no sense! Why would you ask someone if actually playing paintball was included in the fee that they pay to come to a paintball field? Do they think that you just pay and sit around doing nothing? I just can’t!
About the blogger:
Hey y'all! My name is Samantha, but I go by Sam, or any other nickname of the name Samantha! I love my middle name way more though, which is Rose! I am currently a high school freshman. I love to read and hang out with my friends! :) I want to go into publishing, editing, or anything to do with books when I get older. My mom read to my brother and I when I was younger and I think that was where I got my love of reading!
