#BOBblogoversary Day 8: M. Leighton + Giveaway

For today's feature, I've got the oh-so-very amazing, M. Leighton, author of The Wild Ones and Down to You, here for some good fun! I am so stoked to have her here with us today!

I was first introduced to Leighton when I heard about The Wild Ones back in August of 2012. I always remember Trick's famous "trick or treat" line. Oh, you don't recall? It's this one:

The lopsided grin comes back. “Patrick, but my friends call me Trick.”

“Trick? As in trick or treat? That kind of trick?”

He laughs and my stomach flutters. It actually flutters. “Yep. That kind of trick.” He sobers and leans in close to me. “Cami, can I ask a favor?”

I’m breathless again. He’s so close I can count every hair in the stubble that dusts his tanned cheeks. For just a second, his clean manly scent overrides the cigarette smoke and stale beer smell of the bar.

I lose my voice—again—so I nod.

“Pick ‘treat.’ Please, for the love of God, pick ‘treat.’”

Do you remember now? ;p After reading The Wild Ones, I instantly became obsessed. I needed more Leighton and that's when I read the epic-ness that is Down to You. After being introduced to Leighton's sexy men and the heat that she delivers, I've been a fan ever since!

It's a huge honor to have her here celebrating my blogoversary with me! It definitely means a whole bunch! Now, let's have some fun, eh? ;p

I grew up around animals. My mom loves them, I love them, my sister loves them. It’s kind of a family thing. Well, once I was walking down the hall and I saw what looked like a leaf on the floor. So, being the neat freak that I am, I bent down to pick it up. It wasn’t a leaf, y’all. It was a tiny dog turd. And I picked it up. With my fingers. With. My. Fingers. Long story short, if you have indoor pets, don’t pick up suspicious things off the floor. Just…don’t.

I love it when people tell me that they cry during certain parts of my books. I’m not a masochist! I swear! I just love to hear that I can make people cry. Is that weird?

I can’t wait for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. I enjoyed the first movie, but the more I watch it, the funnier it gets. Now, I’m like a Ron Burgundy groupie! I love that man! If there’s a midnight showing, I’ll be there with bells on. And maybe a leisure suit. Who knows?
